Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce 65th New Year's Banquet

 On Tuesday, January 5, 2010, Consul General & Mrs. Kamo attended the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce 65th New Year's Banquet held at the Japanese Cultural Center.  The event was a definite success with around 400 people participating from various sectors in the community. During the event, Consul General Kamo offered a kanpai toast wishing a continuing success of the Chamber. The main feature of the evening was the "Shiranami Gonin Otoko,” a kabuki play performed every year by the Chamber members. The Chamber’s chairman, Mr. Sydney Hamada and others, entertained the crowd by their unique performance at this year’s event.
