 2012 Sony Open in Hawaii Gala Dinner

 

 On January 12, 2012, Consul General and Mrs. Kamo attended the Sony Open in Hawaii Gala Dinner held at the Hawaii Convention Center. Nearly 1,000 guests including local politicians, dignitaries and businessmen along will participants from Japan attended the event. 

 The guests enjoyed the food prepared by Aoyagi, a Japanese restaurant in Toranomon, Tokyo and the performance by the legendary singer Diana Ross. Several Japanese professional and amateur golf players including Ryo Ishikawa played at this year’s tournament which grabbed a lot of attention.
