Emperor’s Birthday Reception

On December 15^th, Consul General and Mrs. Kamo held the Emperor’s birthday reception at the official residence of the Consulate General of Japan. Approximately 400 people attended and enjoyed a variety of Japanese food, listening to music by the Royal Hawaiian Band and speeches by the guests of honor. In his remarks, Consul General Kamo expressed the significance of the Japan-U.S. relations and the contributions of the U.S. military based in Japan.
