U.S.-Japan Council Symposium

 On December 3rd, an international symposium was held by the U.S.-Japan Council at the Hawaii Convention Center.  This symposium commemorated the 50th anniversary of the revision of the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty and key figures on Japan-U.S. relations such as Director General Umemoto from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Admiral Robert Willard and Ambassador Schieffer attended the symposium. In his remarks, Consul General Kamo placed his hopes on roles of the U.S.-Japan Council.
