Lecture by Astronaut Koichi Wakata

On May 16^th, Astronaut Koichi Wakata gave a lecture at the Consul General’s official residence. Students from Sendai Ikuei High School in Hawaii, Rainbow Gakuen and the Pacific Buddhist Academy attended the lecture regarding Astronaut Wakata’s experiences in outer space.

Astronaut Wakata also sent words of encouragement to the students from Sendai Ikuei High School, where the earthquake had occurred. At the end of the lecture, a student expressed his appreciation on behalf of the audience.
