Governor David Ige Offers His Condolences Regarding the Kumamoto Earthquake
On April 20, Governor David Ige and First Lady Dawn Ige visited the residence of the Consul General of Japan to offer their sympathies for those affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake and to sign a condolence book.
Governor Ige offered his deepest condolences to Consul General Misawa, and personally delivered letters conveying those sentiments addressed to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and others. Consul General Misawa expressed his gratitude and explained the current situation of the disaster area.
