Public Seminar by Professor Atsushi Sunami, Vice President of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS)

   On February 14, a series of seminars were held in Honolulu featuring Professor Atsushi Sunami, Vice President of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS). Topics for the seminars included “Society 5.0 (Japan’s 5th Science and Technology Basic Plan)” and “Abenomics in 2017.” The morning seminar at the Official Residence of the Consul General was co-hosted by the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce and the afternoon seminar at the Hawaii Imin International Conference Center was co-sponsored by the East-West Center, the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Center for Japanese Studies, Pacific Forum CSIS and the Japan-America Society of Hawaii. The Consulate General is grateful for everyone’s participation.
