Presentation by Kyushu University Students Participating in the Kakehashi Project
On March 2, a group of students from Kyushu University who participated in this year’s Kakehashi Project, a youth exchange program between Japan and the United States, visited the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu. Consul General Misawa gave a presentation on the roles of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General, and the relationship between Japan and Hawaii. The students actively participated in the presentation by asking questions. On March 6, a final session was held at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii to conclude their visit. At this session, Consul General, Mrs. Misawa, and Mrs. Dawn Amano-Ige took the opportunity to speak with the students from Kyushu University and students from the University of Hawaii who will be visiting Kyushu at the end of March.
