Community Day at Queen Ka'ahumanu Elementary School
On April 11, staff members of the Consulate attended “Community Day” at Queen Ka'ahumanu Elementary School. Queen Ka'ahumanu’s “Community Day” is supported by volunteers from many offices and organizations in the local community. At the Consulate table, Consulate staff talked with students about Japan while demonstrating Japanese calligraphy and origami folding.
