Consulate Activities

On April 23rd, the Japan America Society of Hawaii held its Japan Day event. Japan Day is an educational program to experience Japanese culture. Middle and high schools across the Hawaii state are invited. There were booths for Japanese tea ceremony, calligraphy, bon dance, flower arrangement, karate, abacus, and origami. Consul General Ito also attended and gave opening remarks.
