Consulate Activities

Mr. Chuzo Kotaka, president of the International Karate Federation and Mr. Kevin Yoshimi Asano, former president of the United States Judo Federation and the president of the Hawaii Judo, Inc were awarded the Foreign Minister's Commendations in recognition of their work to promote mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and the U.S. (Hawaii) through sports. The ceremony was held at the at the Consul General’s Official Residence surrounded by friends and colleagues.
