Visit by Ananhikari High School students from Tokushima Prefecture
On December 4th, four students from Ananhikari High School in Tokushima Prefecture visited the Consulate General of Japan. The school is certified as “Super-only-one High School” by Tokushima Prefecture and working on effective use of abandoned bamboo in Anan City. As part of the project, students participated in the Honolulu Marathon (10km Run & Walk) and had a booth at the Hawaii Convention Center to introduce the charm of Tokushima Prefecture by distributing free postcards and bookmarks made of bamboo paper.
