Consulate Activities

On November 2nd, CG Aoki met former Gov. George Ariyoshi and Mrs. Jean Ariyoshi at the residence. Gov. Ariyoshi warmly welcomed Consul General and shared his experiences of working for the GHQ in Japan, meeting Japanese royal family members, Japanese Prime Ministers and American Presidents as governor. They then discussed the strong partnership between Hawaii and Japan, Japanese American community in Hawaii and the future of Hawaii.
