Japan booth at the Kawaii Kon- Vote for your favorite Japanese Anime Spots!

On April 1 (Sat), the Consulate General of Japan, together with the Anime Tourism Association, will be participating the Kawaii Kon - Hawaii's largest anime convention at the Hawaii Convention Center.

Every year the association selects and announces a list of “Japanese Anime 88-Spots” that people would like to visit. These locations are voted by anime fans from around the world.

At our booth, we will distribute a guide about the Japanese Anime 88-Spots (2023 Edition) to promote new attractions in Japan, in addition to Japan related info such as the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program or study abroad opportunities.
We will also conduct a special advance online poll for next year's Anime Spots, so you can vote for any anime spot in Japan that you’d like to visit! Results will help the association choose next year's Anime 88-Spots, which will be announced on their website (https://animetourism88.com/en) in December.

Kawaii Kon features a variety of activities including performances by Japanese artists, fashion show, cosplay events and more! Please feel free to visit our booth!
