2023 Fall Imperial Decoration
We are pleased to announce that the following residents of Honolulu, Hawaii have been awarded the 2023 Fall Imperial Decoration.

Position: Former Member of the Hawaii State Legislature
Achievements: Contributed to promoting regional exchanges and mutual understanding between Japan and the United States
Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette
○ Akemi Kurokawa
Position: Former President of the Urasenke Tankokai Hawaii Association
Achievements: Contributed to the promotion and development of Japan’s tea ceremony culture in Hawaii.
Decoration: The Order of The Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.
