Consul General Kodama’s New Appointment Greeting to Governor Green

  1. On November 6 2023, Consul General Kodama called on Governor Green of the State of Hawaii.
 
  1. Consul General Kodama expressed his deepest sympathies to those who suffer from the Maui wildfire and conveyed that Japan’s experience with natural disasters can be utilized for Maui’s recovery. In the areas of tourism and education, he also expressed his desire to promote exchanges between Japan and Hawaii.
 
  1. Governor Green expressed his gratitude for Japan’s support for those affected by the Maui wildfires and his desire to promote exchanges with Japan in various fields.
