Visit by Governor Uchibori of Fukushima Prefecture
On October 28, Mr. Masao Uchibori, Governor of Fukushima Prefecture, visited the Consulate-General of Japan and met with Consul General Kodama, discussing promotion for Fukushima Prefecture and other matters.
During his stay in Honolulu, Governor Uchibori met with Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke and participated in the Honolulu Fukushima Kenjinkai’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. In addition, he promoted Fukushima rice and tourism to Fukushima Prefecture in Honolulu.
