Visit from Sakai Town's delegation including Town Council Chairperson Kuramochi
On Monday, June 3, 2024, Mr. KURAMOCHI Isao, Chairperson of Sakai Town Council; Mr. NOJIRI Tomoharu, Vice Mayor of Sakai Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, which has a sister city relationship with the City and County of Honolulu, and others in their delegation visited the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu.
Consul General Kodama and the delegation members discussed various exchange programs with the City and County of Honolulu including a fireworks display to be held at Waikiki Beach on the following day, June 4 as a part of the “Sakaimachi Week” of events.
