Group visit from Sakai Town elementary and middle school students
On Monday August 26, a group of 20 elementary and middle school students representing Honolulu’s sister-city Sakai Town, Ibaraki, led by Town Mayor Hashimoto, visited our Consulate and listened to a presentation about Hawaii given by Deputy Consul General Izawa.
The 20 students from Sakai town will visit their sister elementary and middle schools within Honolulu city and through homestay visits at the homes of the students will deepen the inter-school ties between Honolulu City and Sakai Town.
