Additionally, we co-hosted the Japan Film Festival in collaboration with the Honolulu Festival Foundation and the Japan Foundation. The festival was well-received by attendees.

Consul General Kodama, along with other members of our staff, also participated in the "Honolulu Rainbow Ekiden (EKIDEN) 2025," a sister event of the Honolulu Festival. From the Consulate General, three teams consisting of 15 members participated, all of whom completed the race.
Before the event, on March 6, the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu and the Honolulu Festival Foundation co-hosted a reception at the Official Residence to kick off the 29th Annual Honolulu Festival. Around 100 guests, including representatives from Japanese companies, businesses, organizations, and individuals who contributed to making the festival possible, attended the reception.
