Consulate Activities

On October 16, 2025, Consul General Kodama and Governor Green signed the Guidelines on Cooperation for Disaster Relief and Risk Reduction between the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu and the State of Hawai'i at the Hawai'i State Capitol. The Consulate General in Honolulu and the State of Hawai'i confirmed that they will promote further cooperation in the fields of disaster relief, disaster risk reduction and disaster recovery between both sides in accordance with these guidelines in the future.
