<10 Years After the Great East Japan Earthquake> Book of Condolences available at the Official Residence of the Consul General

March 11, 2021, marks a decade since the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.

The Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu would like to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to all who have been affected by the disaster.
 
In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the consulate is providing a book of condolences at the Consul General’s official residence for the public to express their sympathies for the victims of the disaster.
 
The book of condolences will be available to the public on the following days:
 
DATE: March 10 (Wednesday) - March 12 (Friday)
TIME: 9:00 am - 12:00 am, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
VENUE: Official Residence of the Consul General
                Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu
                1742 Nuuanu Avenue
 
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, visitors are required to maintain social distancing by remaining at least six feet apart from others.
A limited number of people will be allowed into the residence at one time for the health and safety of everyone.
