The Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu is taking applications for one (1) person for the position of Facilities Maintenance Clerk (Facility Management/ Construction Oversight).

Monday thru Friday
8:00AM to 4:00PM (one-hour lunch included)
*On occassion you may be asked to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.

  1. Duties
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Clerk who will assist in the management of the facilities including the office and official residence buildings.Your duties will include, but are not limited to, coordination with various vendors and daily monitoring and upkeep of the facilities on property, as well as a wide variety of responsibilities as deemed necessary.
 
  1. Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship or US Green Card Holder
  • Able to work full-time hours, 8:00AM to 4:00PM (5 days a week, Monday thru Friday)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
 
  1. Other Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent in Japanese Language (Conversation, Reading and Writing)
  • Degree or certification in the architectural or engineering field; or experience working in the architecture, engineering or real estate fields.
